I just accepted the GA consultant for my area and am interested in learnng more about the association events others have done.  In the past, we had an overnight in the fall and a day camp in the spring.  The girls loved the overnight - but  we aren't able to get a host church this year,   I'm going to try a 3 hour morning session this fall.  We'll incorporate the new GA theme - Anchors Aweigh!  What time frames and days of the week do you hold your association events?

Jan,

Our events in Sept and March are planned for Saturdays and the Nov event is a friday night, our camp is help Monday afternoon-Friday morning at Baldwin Baptist Camp.

3 years ago we had quarterly events as well but the last 2 years only a International mission event and GA camp were held...GA Camp is a tradition in our association I attended Camp Baldwin for GA camp some 20 years ago (yikesShocked)

Our Nov event is an "Almost lock-in"  girls get to come in their PJs  I would love to do an overnight but got to get me some committed leaders to help before that happens:)

I am supper excited about our kick off event because it will be held at Anchors Aweigh RV Resort ..yes that is right!!!!   How cool is that?
