Would your group like to be pen pals with GAs in another city or state? Post your request here!

Please include your church name, city, state, number of girls, and ages of girls.
 
Then browse through the discussion to find another GA group that looks compatible with yours. Contact that group to begin an informal pen pal arrangement.
 
Once you have found your GA pen pals, please post another message to let everyone know that your group is already matched up.
 
We hope that a sticky thread will make it easier to see all the GA pen pal requests in one place. Thanks to Heather NHBC for the good suggestion!

Smile Our GA group would love to have Pen Pals.  Please contact me if your group is interested.  We are considering our 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders.  We would like to begin in Janaury 2010.

We are located in Virginia, I only have two regular girls and 3 that come most Weds.  The girls range from 1st - 3rd grade.

Our girls would love to have pen pals. Would we do it by computer or slow mail? We usually average about 15 - 18 girls each Wednesday. They range from 2nd - 6th grade. Have you done this before? I could try my laptop at the church to see if it will pick up a wireless signal, if not, I can just check it before each Wednesday.
Would it be ok to have each girl write a short note telling about themselves with a group picture & sending to each other? This way we can have a picture to go with the names. We can take a group picture this Wednesday night. I know the girls will enjoy this.

I teach the 1st-3rd grade class, but let me check with my 4th-6th grade teacher. We're in northwest Connecticut, and usually have about 12 in that class each week.
