Have you read the article A Call to Stand: Heart to Heart with Gracie Rosenberger (http://www.mymissionfulfilled.com/article.asp?id=1321) on myMISSIONfulfilled?  It is a very inspiring story about one woman who started a prosthetics ministry in Ghana after she had her own legs amputated.

We would love to have comments about the article.  We also want to hear stories of how God has used your hardships as a ministry tool.

Thanks,
MMF

This is Shelli Littleton.  I'd like to encourage everyone to go to Gracie Rosenberger's website, Standingwithhope.com.  She has lived a novel life; her ministry in Ghana barely scratches the surface in her ministry to others through her hardship.  I certainly can't hold a candle to her.  Her story definitely put a fire under my soul.  I've been through some hardships.  One in particular - our youngest daughter had cancer as a baby.  The Lord opened an opportunity for me this last year to share our story with a large women's group in San Angelo, Texas.  He definitely took me out of my comfort zone.  After speaking to the group, there were several women who came up to me with tear-streaked faces saying the Lord had spoken to them through me that day.  I could have leapt off the face of the earth in joy.  Knowing our story touched someone else's life for good made all the heartache and suffering of that hardship worthwhile.  That's the plan.  God's plan is good ... so good.

May Gracie's story touch your heart as it did mine.
God bless,  Shelli

It's amazing how we can reassess our own lives after reading an article like this. One's personal experiences that turn into hope, comfort and peace for others. It's an amazing cycle that God provides us to help others when we choose to listen and take action.
Thank you for sharing the article.
