WMU's Volunteer Connection® is a resource that connects volunteers with needs both nationally and internationally, to serve through missions and share the love of Christ. The ministries under the umbrella of Volunteer Connection include MissionsFESTSM; FamlyFESTSM; Acteens ActivatorsSM; Christian Women's Job Corps®; Christian Men's Job Corps®; International InitiativesSM; and Pure Water, Pure LoveSM.

I have been blessed through Missionfest New England and was able to prayer walk in New Orleans in Oct. A young girl came to know our great God right there on those cracked streets. What a blessing that we have these wonderful chances to share God's love. I'm so thankful for the incredible Alabama WMU. Thank youHug

I have designed and created a 14 inch circular cloth book that spells out the plan of salvation in colors. I have laminated story cards sewn into the right side of the book that corresponds with the visual on the left.

I use felt, canvas, jewels, buttons, trim, and beads to make it bright and colorful. It is perfect for short term mission trips,  Sunday school, VBS, camps, and work with the homeless and inner city kids. It is a great visual tool to present the gospel.

I got my idea from the song, TELL ME THE STORY OF JESUS: Write on my heart every word. I believe that God spoke to me through this song to visually create a way to tell His story. To do this, His Good News story is told on heart shapes throughout the book. Hopefully, this book brings honor to Him.
