We collected things for the Baptist Children's home and Manna house in Madison, AL.  We attended the Children's Mission Explosion in Huntsville.  We took our donated supplies there.

Wink FBC of Edom, Texas. We just restarted CIA program and have just several kids. We decided on collecting things for the East Texas Rescue Mission in Tyler, Texas. We gathered pillows, pillowcases, sheets, mens clothing, coffee, tea and food supplies. East Texas Rescue Mission houses 125 homeless men sharing the gospel with them. We wanted to do volunteer work that day, however they already had 200 volunteers there that day doing all type of work. They really liked getting contributions and showed us their facility and told us about their ministry. We are planning to go back and do some volunteer work on another day.

On Saturday, February 20, 2010, the RA and GA groups of Branch Baptist Church, Morton, Mississippi participated in Children's Ministry Day.  A total of 7 children accompained by 4 adults visited the Ronald McDonald House in Jackson, MS on that day.  We assembled 16 welcome kits to deliver to occupants of the house.  On arriving they gave us a tour of the facilities.  Afterwards we took the children to Chick Fil A for lunch.

Mission Friends, GA, RA and Acteens collected new pillows and pillow cases from church members. The kids decorated the pillow cases with Bible verses. On CMD, they delivered the pillows with cases to the local emergency shelter in Quincy, IL. We were shown one of the bedrooms.
